Booking & Cancellation Policy.
Africa Almalik Safaris
At Africa Almalik Safaris, we understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent while allowing us to secure accommodations and park services in advance.
1. Booking & Payment Terms
A 30% deposit of the total safari cost is required to confirm your booking.
The remaining balance must be paid 30 days before arrival.
For bookings made within 30 days of arrival, full payment is required at the time of confirmation.
Bookings are confirmed only after receipt of the required deposit.
2. Cancellation by the Client
If you cancel your safari, the following cancellation fees will apply:
More than 45 days before arrival – Full refund minus bank transfer charges.
30–44 days before arrival – 30% cancellation fee (deposit retained).
15–29 days before arrival – 50% of total safari cost.
0–14 days before arrival – 100% of total safari cost (no refund).
Please note: Some lodges, camps, or balloon safaris may have stricter cancellation policies, which will be communicated at the time of booking.
3. Amendments & Changes
Changes to confirmed bookings (dates, accommodation, number of guests) are subject to availability and may result in additional costs.
We will always do our best to accommodate reasonable changes.
4. Cancellation by Africa Almalik Safaris
In the unlikely event that we must cancel your safari due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure, government restrictions, natural disasters, etc.), you will be offered:
An alternative safari of equal value, or
A full refund of all payments made.
Africa Almalik Safaris is not responsible for additional expenses such as international flights or travel insurance.
5. No Show Policy
Failure to arrive on the confirmed arrival date without prior notice will be treated as a cancellation, and no refund will be issued.
6. Travel Insurance (Highly Recommended)
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:
Trip cancellation
Medical emergencies
Emergency evacuation
Personal belongings
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 14–21 working days via the original payment method. Bank transfer fees may be deducted.
